This was a beach house kitchen remodel... done for pennies on the dollar. By taking down and reconfirguring the existing cabinets (for a better layout),painting the cabinets in a 3 part faux finish to have the appearance of driftwood,added bead board on the backsplash (for a cottage feel),inexpensive laminate counter tops....this kitchen was transformed. LOVE IT! I think the new microwave w/electrical work was the biggest expense.
